Teacher Town Halls: Real Talk on Education Reform

Home » Philadelphia Recap

The City of Brotherly Love proved to be a fitting site for our third town hall. The city's schools are mired in a financial and achievement crisis, and 200 teachers and education leaders packed the Student Faculty Center at Temple University for a passionate and frank debate about how to help students in their city and around the nation. The panelists and crowd discussed a wide variety of issues including school financing, collective bargaining and teacher tenure.

We had a lot of ground to cover in the 90 minute session and there were many questions that we didn't get to during the event. As promised, we have answered all your questions and they are now available here!
